Ruben Timmerman is Founding Funder and Operations Director at The School for Moral Ambition (https://www.moralambition.org/). He founded edtech startup Springest in 2008 and sold it in 2021, after investments from Sanoma Media and HAL / FD Mediagroup. Springest won several awards for employer of the year and had offices with 60 people in Amsterdam and Berlin. Ruben has since then invested in a dozen purpose driven startups, a few impact funds, and took a public pledge to donate 10% of both his income and wealth to good causes. He's also involved in Instituut for Publieke Economie and Volt Europa as both donor and advisor.
