Bas Kragten is head of private ABS & infrastructure. He leads the team responsible for fund finance & renewable infrastructure debt. As part of the combination between Aegon NL and a.s.r., Bas joined Aegon AM from a.s.r., where he was head of structured investments. Prior to that, he was co-head of fixed income at Actiam for more than ten years, where he was responsible for a range of private market strategies. Prior still, he was head of ABS at ING Investment Management and held various positions in structured finance/alternative fixed income portfolio management at NIBC, ABP and Rabobank. He has been in the industry since 1995 and joined the firm in 2023 as part of the merger. He holds a Master’s degree in macroeconomics from Tilburg University.
