Karlijn van Lierop is head of reo®, the Responsible Engagement Overlay service of Columbia Threadneedle Investments. She joined in January 2022 and works closely with the product specialists and the Dutch client management team to build and extend reo® clients and develop innovative new solutions. Prior to joining the group, Van Lierop spent nearly a decade at MN Asset Management where she was a Director of Responsible Investment. She was an IIGCC board member and one of the founders and management committee members of Platform Living Wage Financials. Before joining the financial industry Van Lierop worked as a Sustainability consultant and manager for over 10 years. She holds a MSc in Public Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
