Cherry Muijsson is Client Chief Investment Officer at BlackRock, leading investment strategy and portfolio outcomes for EMEA pension fund clients. She oversees asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection across public and private markets, and leads BlackRock’s impact investing work on nature and biodiversity. With over 15 years of experience in finance, macroeconomics and sustainability, Cherry has helped develop BlackRock’s nature investment research and biodiversity analytics. She is a member of the TNFD Working Group and the World Economic Forum’s Nature-Positive Transition working group, and was named Sustainable Investment Woman of the Year in 2025. She holds a PhD in macroeconomics from the University of Cambridge.
