Veerle is the co-founder of PYM, the Conscious Investors’ Community, the leading independent platform in the Benelux with over 2000 members, which connects and guides wealth owners to invest their capital consciously for a better world. Veerle has been an impact investor since 2004 following an international career in investor relations. She has built a diverse investment portfolio of direct and indirect investments in funds in sectors such as micro-finance, renewable energy, cleantech, aquaculture and food & water distribution. Both in developed as well as in emerging markets in Africa and Latin America. After starting her career in investor relations in New York, she moved to Paris and London to set up the European operations of Technimetrics, one of the first fintech companies, which was then acquired by Thomson Reuters. Veerle then became a Partner at Brunswick, the leading financial communications agency, where she was responsible for developing the Benelux market. She relocated to Amsterdam to lead her family office, worked as an advisor for impact organisations and served on several boards, including the board of the Social-Alpha Bastion Fund.

Since September 2020, Roberta Bosurgi is the CEO of EVPA, a knowledge and impact focused network of over 300 organisations deploying investments at the intersection of business and purpose, driven by knowledge and focused on impact. She has over 20 years of international corporate and management consulting experience. Her previous role was at Novartis Foundation, where she led a collective impact initiative for cardiovascular health in low-income urban settings, building multi-sector private-public partnerships and working with social enterprises on the journey to scale and financial sustainability. She has also covered international roles in strategy, business operations and market access at Novartis, and led large change/transformation programmes with McKinsey&Co.

Nachu Chockalingam joined in March 2018 as a portfolio manager within the Credit team. She is co-portfolio manager of the SDG Engagement High Yield Credit strategy and the Climate Change High Yield strategy, as well as the sustainable portfolio manager for our range of flexible credit strategies. She joined from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where she was a portfolio manager responsible for the plan’s active investments in emerging markets and European credit. Nachu started her career at JPMorgan in London as a sell-side analyst where she spent 13 years covering, firstly, European high yield and investment grade and then CEEMEA credit. Nachu graduated from the London School of Economics with a degree in Economics and is a CFA charterholder.

Sytske Groenewald joined Cardano (former ACTIAM) in September 2021 as Senior Sustainability & Impact Analyst. She is responsible for the implementation of our impact strategies and the execution of our impact measurement, management and reporting function for the impact funds operated. Sytske has a seat in the investment committees (veto right) and leading the publication of the (annual) impact reports. Further, she acts as the liaison between the Impact Investing team and the Cardano Strategy and Sustainability team. Prior to joining Cardano, she worked as Director Impact & Operations at Inclusive Impact Investments B.V. She is seasoned and experienced in ESG aspects of businesses and managing the social returns of impact investments. Further, she has a strong background and experience in socio-economic research (Ph.D.), impact measurement, and the usage of innovative data solutions for social problems. Sytske holds a master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Utrecht. She completed her Ph.D. study at Wageningen University and Research Centre.

Wouter Koelewijn represents the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) in The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. The GIIN is the largest global network of impact investing organizations dedicated to increasing its scale and effectiveness around the world. Wouter Koelewijn holds extensive experience in senior roles within institutional asset management and the financial services industry. Before joining the GIIN, Wouter worked as a senior strategy and innovation manager at pension asset manager PGGM. Throughout his professional endeavors, he has consistently focused on developing strategies and innovations in sustainable finance, impact investing, and impact management and measurement. He has also supported the development of various intercompany and industry networks and initiatives in the field of impact investing and innovation. Wouter started his career as a management consultant in corporate strategy and business development at Deloitte.

Rosie Rankin is a Director and has worked as an investment specialist on Positive Change (a global equity impact strategy) since its inception in 2017. Rankin joined Baillie Gifford in 2013. She previously worked at Martin Currie, Aberdeen Asset Management and Edinburgh Fund Managers. She graduated MA (Hons) in Politics and Economic & Social History from the University of Edinburgh in 1997. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments.

Originally from India, Dimple is an experienced investment professional with over 20 years of experience in impact investing, investment banking and venture capital. At Anthos, she is responsible for originating investments, managing relationships, and helping to execute strategies for the fund portfolios dedicated to impact investing across all asset classes including private, listed and real assets.
Dimple also serves on the Investment Committee of the Nathan Cummings Foundation, and she is an inaugural member of the Global Impact Leaders, a curated community of thought leaders in impact developed by the Sorenson Impact Center.

In her last role there she was responsible for the informal investing proposition of ING Private Banking. She started at ING Wholesale Banking in the relationship management department and has several years of experience working within the Structured Acquisition Finance team structuring the financing of private equity acquisitions.

Laure is an investment professional with 25 years of experience in the financial sector, specialized in sustainability and impact. A former investment banker, she started working in 1995 at Banque Nationale de Paris (BNP) in Equity Advisory, then joined ABN AMRO Rothschild in 2000, first in Paris where she structured equity transactions, and from 2001 in London where she directed marketing and syndication of equity and equity-linked transactions. Laure moved to The Netherlands in 2005 and worked as an independent consultant in strategy and financial advisory. In parallel, she remained involved in various impact initiatives as a volunteer. From 2013 to 2018, she was head of investments at Cordaid, an INGO based in The Netherlands, and led the transformation into a fully independent impact fund. Since 2018 she works as an impact advisor and non-executive director. Laure is Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the audit committee of REGMIFA (Regional MSME investment fund in Sub-Saharan Africa) since May 2019. Laure established the Netherlands Advisory Board on impact investing (Stichting NAB) and is its Managing Director since 2020.
