Impact Investment in a Disrupted World
Leading figures of the European impact investing sector gathered in Amsterdam on 24 November 2022 for the inaugural Impact Investor Conference. The event attracted 200 delegates representing asset owners, investment managers, policymakers and sector-building organisations to discuss the latest developments in the fast-evolving impact investing universe.
The discussions centred not just on the sector's rapid growth but, most importantly, on whether it is growing in the right direction – one that focuses on the deployment capital in the most efficient way to maximise impact. Presentations and panel discussions covered the current impact investing ecosystem and how it is developing across asset classes, strategies and investor types. It also covered the all-important topics of impact measurement and management and 'impact-washing'.
We are thankful to all the speakers, sponsors and delegates who took part in our very first Impact Investor Conference and looking forward to the 2023 edition.
